I realise that these photos have been around for a week now and many, many people have published them on their own sites and of course all over Facebook, however I still think they are fantastic and just in case some of you haven’t seen them yet, here they are again!
When I first saw the photo over Tenerife, I wasn’t sure if it was real or fake…
Since then I understand that these were taken by Soichi Noguchi (you can follow him on Twitter @Astro_Soichi if you want to see more of his photos) as the space shuttle Atlantis arrived safely at the International Space Station!
